Overnight Mountings Launches Ring Builder Platform

Overnight Mountings, one of the jewelry industry’s most established New York manufacturers, is entering a new era with the launch of a fully integrated B2B jewelry platform designed to help retailers compete in a rapidly evolving retail landscape shaped by customization, digital selling, and faster consumer expectations.

The company will debut its new Ring Builder platform at JCK Las Vegas, introducing a retailer-focused technology system that combines engagement ring customization, CAD development, rendering services, pricing workflows, and manufacturing execution into one connected experience. The launch signals a broader transformation underway at Overnight Mountings as the company expands beyond the traditional role of wholesale jewelry manufacturer into a technology-enabled operational partner for modern jewelry retailers.

For decades, Overnight Mountings has been known in the industry for its extensive bridal mounting selection, domestic manufacturing capabilities, CAD support, and fast-turn production. Now, the company is building on that foundation with digital tools designed to help retailers simplify customization, accelerate sales, and reduce operational friction between customer inquiry and finished product delivery.

The move comes as the jewelry industry faces increasing pressure from changing consumer behavior and a rapidly evolving retail environment. Shoppers expect personalized products, visual customization tools, transparent ordering processes, and shorter production timelines. At the same time, independent jewelers and multi-location retailers are competing against digitally native brands that have invested heavily in online shopping experiences and customization technology. Overnight Mountings says its new platform was built specifically to address those challenges.

“Retailers today need more than product. They need speed, digital selling tools, manufacturing confidence, and a partner who can help them convert interest into orders,” says Mitch Adwar, Chief Operations Officer. “Overnight is building that platform from the inside out, backed by the manufacturing depth and service standards retailers already know us for.”

The new Ring Builder platform allows retailers to guide customers through a customizable engagement ring buying experience using retailer branded interfaces that can support both in-store and online sales environments. Consumers can explore mounting styles, center stone options, design variations, setting combinations, and made-to-order configurations while retailers maintain direct alignment with manufacturing capabilities and production workflows. The platform was intentionally designed around retailer usability rather than consumer-facing visualization.

“We approached this from the retailer’s perspective first,” Adwar said. “A lot of technology in this space looks impressive on the surface but still leaves stores dealing with disconnected workflows, fragmented communication, delayed quoting, or uncertainty around production. We wanted to create a system where the selling experience and the manufacturing process actually work together.”

Unlike many technology providers entering the jewelry space, Overnight Mountings operates its own domestic manufacturing infrastructure in New York, allowing the company to integrate production directly into the digital ordering process. That vertical integration, executives say, creates significant advantages for retailers navigating custom orders, mounting modifications, CAD development, and made-to-order production. “Technology works best when it is connected to real manufacturing,” says Patrick Bennett, who is heading strategy and growth. “Our advantage at Overnight is that we are digitizing the full retailer-to-manufacturer workflow so stores can sell with more confidence and control.”

Overnight Mountings is currently developing additional AI-assisted automation systems designed to support faster quoting, improved rendering workflows, structured custom intake, and more efficient communication between retailers and manufacturing teams. The company expects portions of those systems to begin rolling out in 2026. Executives say the long-term goal is to modernize how jewelry retailers interact with manufacturing partners by consolidating multiple functions into a single operational ecosystem.

“We think the industry is moving toward connected systems,” Bennett said. “Retailers do not want to manage five different vendors to complete one custom engagement ring order. They want speed, consistency, accountability, and simplicity. We are building infrastructure that allows retailers to move from inspiration to manufacturing through one connected partner.”

In addition to its expanding technology initiatives, Overnight Mountings continues to operate as a full-scale fine jewelry manufacturer serving independent jewelers, chains, designers, and online retailers nationwide. The company currently provides bridal mountings, engagement rings, finished jewelry, diamonds, CAD services, custom manufacturing, rendering support, and made-to-order production solutions across a broad range of categories. The company’s evolution reflects a shift occurring across the jewelry industry as manufacturers increasingly become operational and technological partners rather than purely product suppliers.

“The relationship between retailers and manufacturers is changing,” Bennett said. “Retailers need partners that can support digital commerce, customization, production speed, and operational flexibility all at once. We believe manufacturers who can combine those capabilities will define the next generation of the jewelry industry.” Retailers attending JCK Las Vegas, Bridal Pavilion Booth #12075, will be able to preview the Ring Builder platform, meet with Overnight Mountings leadership, and learn more about its broader digital transformation strategy and future automation roadmap.
